* European Week: Days of the EU – Zagreb, 5th and 6th May 2004

On 5th and 6th May 2004 JEF Croatia will mark this year’s European week in cooperation with the Ministry for European Integration and Croatian Student Association at the Graduate School of Business and Economics in Zagreb.

During those two days we will organize a conference, various lectures and working groups on issues like the enlargement, environment protection, Croatia’s way to the EU, costs and benefits for any accessing country etc. Among, we will put stands of every member country with their promotional material in the main hall at the University.

JEF Croatia will have our own stand for our promotional material where we will also have an info-pool for the people where they could find out more about the Constitution and its relevance, about parliamentary elections and all other questions they might be interested in. We want to use this huge young publicity to carry out the project Give Europe a Face.

We believe that many people will come and express their opinion on Europe’s future, identity and how they feel about it or find themselves in it. Those postcards that will rise these days, will give us Croatian point of view on Europe, which will be useful for our section as well, because we will see how close (or far) are we to achieve a better understanding and closeness to the EU among Croatian citizens.
