The main aim was to create awareness and encourage interest among young people about their fundamental Human Rights within the provisions of The Constitution for Europe. This entails promoting the European Constitution in the most direct way imaginable. This was done through leaflets and posters. These were distributed on our university campus on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th December. A quote from Article II 82 of the Constitution was printed on 20 green t-shirts in large font in the 20 official EU languages. These t-shirts were worn by mannequins (used in clothes shops) and placed all around campus. This ensured innovation, as no such action had ever taken place at our university. There is no doubt that this action raised both awareness and interest.
